How to request that your account and associated data be deleted

If you want to delete your Daynite account and all data we hold (profile, daily entries, settings, and other information), follow one of the options below.

Option 1: Delete from the app (recommended)

  1. Open the Daynite app and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings (gear icon or profile/settings in the app).
  3. Open your Profile or account section.
  4. Tap Delete Account.
  5. Enter your password when prompted and confirm deletion.

Your account and associated data will be deleted. We delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except where we must retain it for legal reasons.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, you can request account and data deletion by email:

  1. Send an email to privacy@daynite.app.
  2. Use the subject line: Account deletion request.
  3. Send the email from the address associated with your Daynite account.
  4. We will verify your identity and then process the deletion. We will confirm once your account and data have been deleted (within 30 days where applicable).

What we delete

When you delete your account, we remove or anonymize:

  • Your account information (name, email, profile details)
  • All daily entries and health/lifestyle data
  • Settings and preferences
  • Subscription and payment records (as permitted; some data may be retained for legal or billing purposes)
